Ylöjärvi-based Räjäytys Kaksikko invests in Finland-manufactured Rammer Excellence Series hydraulic hammers

Räjäytys Kaksikko, based in Ylöjärvi, specialises in quarrying rock for crushing plants. To break oversized rocks down to a suitable size for the crushing process, heavy-duty tools are required. For this purpose, the company has recently invested in three Rammer Excellence series hydraulic breakers, manufactured in Finland.

"The rock is hard and we extract one million cubic metres of it per year for crushing plants. This requires reliable breakers that can withstand extremely demanding use. In the current climate, it also felt important to support Finnish labour," says Marko Martiskainen, CEO of Räjäytys Kaksikko.

The collaboration between Marakon and Räjäytys Kaksikko has been fruitful for nearly two decades. Over the years, Räjäytys Kaksikko has used several hydraulic breakers of various brands, such as the Korean Soosan and, most recently, Rammer 3288E breakers.

"In this line of work, it is essential that production on job sites continues without interruption. Whenever the breakers need servicing, Marakon has always handled the job quickly and professionally. They also always provide a replacement breaker for use during servicing," continues Martiskainen.

Räjäytys Kaksikko's job sites are located primarily in southern Finland. Current projects include work at the Tampere road transport pit in Tampere, as well as collaborations with Pärhä Oy and Jarmo Toikka Ky. In the Helsinki metropolitan area, urban quarrying is being carried out at the Avialogis construction site, and the company also undertakes building foundation excavations throughout Finland.
