Swedish OilQuick is the global market leader in quick coupler systems. The company manufactures fully automatic quick coupler systems for excavators that allow hydraulic attachments to be connected directly from the cab. The operator can detach and attach equipment nimbly and switch between different tools quickly, which makes excavators – and excavator contracting – more versatile, competitive and profitable. There is no need to climb out of the cab between changes, and operational safety is improved. The system features a safety lock that ensures the attachment cannot fall off under any circumstances.
OilQuick's product range includes quick coupler systems for machines of various sizes, including standard-sized 5–12 tonne excavators, medium-sized 25–43 tonne machines, and large 40–70 tonne machines. OilQuick is particularly well-suited for demolition contractors, who typically need to change attachments several times during the day – for example, from a pulveriser to a grab or from a hydraulic hammer to a shear.
OilQuick designs and manufactures most of its products at its own production facilities in Sweden. In 1993, OilQuick introduced the world's first quick coupler system, which remains the most advanced on the market today. The company's history dates back to 1950.
