Our maintenance team, made up of industry professionals, operates in Lahti, where we service and repair breakers and demolition equipment such as grabs, pulverizers, and concrete cutters. Our service covers all the brands we represent: Normet Xrock, Rammer, VTN, OilQuick, Soosan and Aliva.
Our services include maintenance and fast, accurate spare parts deliveries, and a rental service for short-term needs or as replacement equipment during maintenance. Our extensive experience and responsive service help extend the lifecycle of your equipment at every stage.
Our team consists of experienced professionals, many of whom have operated machinery themselves, enabling them to provide reliable and straightforward support in various situations. We provide all new maintenance employees with comprehensive breaker training.

Breakers supplied by Marakon include a 24-hour service guarantee: we commit to repairing the equipment within 24 hours on weekdays during our opening hours. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 16:00, and the 24-hour service guarantee applies once the product has arrived at our workshop as a priority service order.

Basic Breaker Service
- Opening and disassembly of the breaker
- Thorough cleaning of the unit
- Housing and bracket repair and welding where necessary
- Inspection of components and replacement of worn parts
- All service work is carried out in accordance with the cost estimate approved by the customer
- Repair or replacement of the accumulator and pressure check
- Reassembly and testing on our test bench to ensure the unit is returned in full working order
Field Service
Marakon's comprehensive maintenance service also includes responsive field service when needed. When maintenance is required during critical operations and there is no time to wait, our specialists can come directly to your site. If needed, we can provide replacement equipment for the duration of the service.

Regular maintenance is key to reliable equipment performance
Always service your equipment when maintenance is due—the same principle applies as with cars.
The service interval for breakers is 800 hours or one year. Our experts can contact you when the next service is approaching. Sandvik-manufactured Rammer breakers include the Ramdata system, which reminds users to schedule maintenance.
For grabs, the condition of the wear plates indicates when maintenance is needed, while for pulverizers, wear on the teeth is the key indicator.
Service intervals should not be extended, even during critical work phases. We carry out maintenance and spare parts replacements quickly and efficiently. If more time is required, you can rent replacement equipment from us.
It is also important to take good care of your equipment between services. Regular greasing of the chisel extends its service life—the chisel must not be run dry. The wear of the lower bushing and chisel retainer should also be checked regularly.
